Moonbelly is a collaborative Triple IPA, created with Third Moon Brewing to commemorate their first anniversary (congrats!).
Borrowing aspects from our Greenbelly and their Triple Bone Tree, with some new hops thrown into the mix (Eclipse for us and Lous for them) to keep things interesting, Moonbelly has emerged as a pillowy soft, intensely aromatic, celebratory expression of hops.
Tastes like/smells like: grape candy, orange peel, pine

Opaque orange, with a small white head. Aroma is boozy stone fruit. Loads of peach and mango, but it's big. Light sticky cereals, mangoes, full mouth feel, soft carb. Low bitterness, boozy, nectarine.

Tasting at Phill's, can
Murky pale blond colour. Dank aroma, fruit, durian. Good body, moderately sweet, creamy oats, very mild chalk, and plenty of tropical and dank hops; a bit of alcohol burn.
Very good.

16oz (thx, Chris S.!) @ Phill's. Appearance: murky blonde with a white head. Aroma: super dank and juicy. Taste: along the same lines with some slight boozy notes and dry finish. Overall: quite good.

473mL can, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite dank and green, with lots of pot-like hops, pithy stone fruits, and just enough crisp biscuity malt to back. Flavour is green, with dank hops, pulpy fruits, and bready malt. Dank and a bit rough. It's alright.

Can. The hop aroma is really harsh and green. Opaque and looks like mango juice. On the palate, soft and sweet, with a bit of weedy hop. Fruitier hop character on the palate, and it goes well with the malt sweetness.

5/10/21, definitely pillowy, bit of a dry piney hop bite on the finish, but boozy sweetness upfront just how I love, thanks Art D. !
