Golden Flair is a Saison brewed with Pilsner, Oats and Spelt. Fermented with a combination of house cultures from both breweries, it was aged in a single Chardonnay barrel. Apricot purée was added before packaging, as well as a dry-hop of El Dorado and Ekuanot. The result is a beer that features a lot of yeast character, with subtle amounts of funk, apricot, tropical fruit, and a bit of oak to complement.

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Gushing bottle. Cloudy pale blond colour, the head disappears quickly. Nice aroma, sour, apricots. Prominent acidity, it has a good fruity character, and good fermentation character too, funky, astringent.
Very good.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy bright peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out faded peaches, a touch of phenols, and earthy funk. Flavour brings out dry, musty peaches, some earthy funk, and a touch of farmhouse notes. A little muddled—the peaches come out decently, but a little earthy. Not bad.

Cloudy. Yellow. Thin head. Nice apricot aroma, there's a bit of vinous accents, and a bit of barrel in the finish. Good complexity and balance to this one.

500ml @ Phill's. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: some fermented veggies, barrel, Brett, juicy. Taste: along the same lines with nice fruity character, moderately acidic with ascorbic notes. Overall: ok.

Cloudy golden yellow with an explosive white head. Lemon rind and tart white fruit. Nice sour orange, citrus and light stone fruit. Nice sour and clean.
