On tap at Mikkeller San Diego, pours a deep dark mahogany / dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is unusual, with lots of brandy barrels, booze, as well as raisins and gentle cinnamon. Flavour is sweet upfront, with lots of raisins, fermented out honey, and boozy brandy, but then the palate quickly dries out, I guess due to the oats. Not sure how cohesive this is — seems pretty messy and lacking a bit of cohesion. Super interesting, just not their most well-rounded.
