Lots of orange but no actual oranges. Great way to bring in the sunshine on a rainy day

Can sample at a tasting at Odi's place. Thanks troubles. Hazy yellow. Funky, floral, oak, some spiciness, some honey, slightly sweetish, light sourish hint, bitter finish.

Fairly hazy golden and light orange coloured body with a nice one to two centimetre tall off-white head that fades pretty quickly and doesn't leave any lace at all. Aroma of strong malts and a nice yeast bite with some bread and graininess, but also some lighter citrus components and a dash of flowers - pretty strong for the alcohol here and noticeable for a while. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive dry and grassy notes show at first but leave a great bit of complexity with two things - the foeders and tartness from the oak and a lot of bright citrus and pure orange notes - both which help out for the style immensely. Aftertaste shows a great balance throughout of strong malts, a lot of oak and dryness here with a bit of a grassy finish and a good hit of alcohol and perhaps even better note of citrus fruits and mild sweetness on the very end - great throughout. Overall, a pretty nice beer throughout with a lot of citrus, some dryness and grassy flavours, a light dose of sugars and a tart and complex yeast finish that makes this beer great for the alcohol content and for the style. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 23-October-2021 for US$4,29, packaged 05-February-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on one of [perhaps] the last hot days of the year on 06-October-2022.

16 ounce can. Medium gold pour. Frothy white head. Earthy, yeasty malt aroma. Flavor is tangy citrus with a heavy accent on oranges. Hints of yeast and minerality early on. Some oakiness and barnyard funk as well. Light bodied and crisp. Dry, earthy finish.

On tap at The Bruery, pours a cloudy dull golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fermented honey, lots of orange blossom, and a touch of honey. Flavour reveals a lot of fermented out honey, lots of orange blossom, some rustic notes, and a touch of oak. Floral and honey-like finish. Nicely made.
