Bouteille:As black as ink, prettystable mid-sized tanned head, mild traces of wanilla and vood in the slightly sourish-toasty nose, completed by a good dash of hops in the background; moderate bitter-sourish flavour, some residual sweetness detectable, medium bodied, not very soft - or, better - almost a bit fizzy; lingering sourish chocolatey and toasty finish, lingering hoppy aftertaste. Good, good...

The beer starts smooth and fresh. Nice malty. Viscous and dark. Quite dry bitter roasted with a fresh malty bitter dry aftertaste. Quite easy to drink with lots of depth! Very nice!

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tempo. Thanks David K. for this bottle! Black with a big frothy tan head. Aroma of lactose, lacto, candy, yeast. Sour flavor with lacto, lactose, candy, fruitiness, and a hint of roast. Medium-bodied, over-carbonated. Infected, but interesting.

Bottle shared by Cuso. Very dark colour and brown head. Slight bretty bubblegumy spicy elements in both aroma and flavour which nicely complement the otherwise classic stout with decent dry roastiness and bitterness coming from such malts. Quite good through unexpected development.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with late awakening, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty aroma, cautious fruity hints of blue berries, a metallic yoghurt touch. Taste is slightly tart, dark malty, hints of yoghurt, blue berries; some underlying coffee and chocolate notes with subtle sweetness appear belatedly in the finish. I’m not sure if this is congruent with the brewer’s intent.
