500mL bottle, pours black with a medium beige head. Nose is quite metallic, burnt nuts, dusty cocoa powder, dry molasses, and a touch of wood — very odd. Flavour is dry and burnt, with dusty dry cocoa powder, burnt nuts, and lots of roast. I don't get any barrel character. It's too charred, dry, and dusty. Puzzling—wouldn't have guessed this was barrel aged. Not bad.
