Cleansing Fire was brewed with two-row, malted wheat, and malted oats with heavy additions of Citra and Idaho 7 added late in the kettle. After fermentation with a blend of our favorite juicy yeast strains, it was heavily dry hopped with Citra Cryo and Idaho 7.

Taster shared with Matt. Appearance: a bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: floral and herbal forward with some sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, nicely integrated hops, maybe a bit overly bitter for me. Overall: good.

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, crisp crackery malt, and a hint of weedy grassiness. Flavour is on the dry side, with lots of vibrant piney hops, some moderate weediness, and crisp biscuity malt. Nicely bitter, with a pronounced crispness and excellent clarity. Top-quality west coast IPA here. Excellent.
