After 40 days of skin contact, the grapes have imparted bright fruit notes of pear, orange, and lemon. The base blend presents with Brettanomyces funk and low-to-medium acidity.

Tasting at Phill's, corked bottle
Pale blond colour, slightly hazy, with small persistent collar. Strong aroma, it's very funky, also a bit farty. Moderately acidic, lightly mineral, maybe grape skins, but no real complexity.

750ml @ Phill's. Appearance: clear blonde with a weak white head. Aroma: funky, oaky, with some creamy notes. Taste: very bubbly, funky, moderately acidic, oak, minerally, but everything is quite muted and simplistic. Overall: ok.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Clear light gold with small white head. Nose is quite nice and funky barnyard brett, but taste is fairly subdued with light minerally reisling, lacking follow through.

750mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite wonderfully fragrant, with lots of barnyard funk—showcasing the brett nicely—with musty grape skins, and some oak. Flavour is much more acidic, with crisp grape skins, light funk, and a touch of oak. Acidic, grainy, mineraly—not great on the palate. The nose is much nicer than the flavour, which has little complexity and the acidity is too high given the lack of flavour complexity. Okay.
