On tap at Crux, pours black with a small brown head. Nose is loaded with barrel character — lots of roast, bourbon, alcohol, and wood. Flavour has remarkable bourbon barrel character and depth, with plenty of vanilla, moderate roast and a hint of molasses. Smooth and bourbony, with beautiful balance. Somehow it's relatively easy to drink for the style. Lovely.
