Earth Died Screaming is a Oatmeal Milk Stout brewed with British Maris Otter, flaked and malted oats, and a plethora of specialty crystal and dark malts. After fermentation, it was conditioned on dark chocolate and hazelnuts. Full bodied yet very drinkable with the dark malts and adjuncts coming together in balance.

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is rich and hearty, with toasted hazelnut, cocoa and lactose upfront, sitting on top of a nice hearty oat character. Flavour is very sweet, with tons of lactose sweetness coming out upfront; then there's cocoa and maybe some mild toasted nuts. Fairly hearty palate, but the sweetness is a bit much. Dial down the lactose? Good overall.
