This is a modern take on a historical predecessor of the India Pale Ale, an October beer. Brewed in 2019 with fresh hops, re-fermented in barrel over the course of a year with Brettanomyces, and dry-hopped again with 2020 harvest fresh hops.

On tap at Reuben's, pours an opaque bright peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of brett, with lots of funk upfront, subdued citrus, and stone fruit pulpiness. Flavour is much the same, with loads of brett, light sweetness, oak, and some stone fruits. It's a brett beer primarily, accentuated by juicy stone fruits and oak. Very nice.
