473mL can, pours a clear bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some pine, and some caramel bready malt. Flavour matches, with lots of resinous and piney hops, and plenty of malty sweetness. Gently oily palate with good west coast hopping, but the malt backbone imparts a bit too much sweetness for my tastes. Well-made but too malty and sweet for me.

Pale amber. Kind of hazy and dull, with a medium head. Nice weedy aroma, and some lemony notes as well. On the palate, the hops aren't as bright. Apparent bitterness is moderate. The malts are fairly thin, but because the hops aren't all that bright on the palate, that doesn't help bring anything out.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Golden colour, hazy, with medium head. Light aroma: sugar, malt, barn, smelly, tomato, light pine. The mouthfeel is lean, with light residual sweetness, flavour of pale malts, a bit crispy, with light toffee; it has bold bitterness, with some pine resins, some orange peel, light pith.
It's a modern interpretation of a WC IIPA (which I appreciate), but it comes through a bit disjointed. Quite good overall.

Clear gold with a rich off white head. Citrus and some resinous notes. Much like the nose, some pine and resin with a decent bitterness. Solid old school.
