A fruity and funky sour ale aged in a single red wine barrel with wild cultures for 2 years and conditioned on raspberry puree. Crisp and tart with a light body, soft tannins, and a wild fruity personality.

Pinkish, thin head, bright. Raspberry, vinous, quite tart, the fruit dropping a bit of juicinesss in there and the barrel lending heft.

On tap at The Bakery, pours a clear bright pinkish red with a tiny head. Nose brings out lots of funky wild bugs, some gentle red wine barrels, and a touch of tart raspberries. Flavour is full of tart raspberries, followed by wild bugs, red wine barrels, and oak. Really nice red wine character and bugginess. Maybe not the most refined or complex wild ale, but it's well-made.
