On tap at 33B, pours a hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma has that subtle English hop character, a hint of orange marmalade, and bready malt. Flavour is much the same, with earthy English hops, bready malt, and a touch of orange marmalade. Fresh and clean, not especially English, but quite pleasant.

Described as bright but my pour is pretty friggin murky. Just a dull dun with not much head. Orangey American hops on the nose. Toasty malt, again some orangey hops. Yeast seems American…not sure why this is called English, really, because it’s nothing like that. On its own, it’s still flawed but has at least that decent orangey note.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy gold with small white head. Decent biscuit malt with mild hopping. Not bad.
