On tap at Hair of the Dog, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is heavily roasted, with deep dark roasted malt, alcohol, a fair bit of hops, and a hint of molasses. Flavour is loaded with deep dark roasted malt, black liquorice, woody hops, and alcohol. Dry, roasted, and a bit of black liquorice. Very strong, dry and sturdy. Excellent.
