Barmhouse is a cooperative blend emerging from the free-thinking minds (and cellars) at de Garde, Upright, The Ale Apothecary, and Block 15. Equal portions of barrel matured offerings from each brewery were specially selected to produce a blend that celebrates the creative freedom found in the wide-open farmhouse style.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a cloudy orange with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy notes, some farmhouse notes, and a little oak. Flavour is tart and acidic, with musty farmhouse notes, citric acidity, and light oak. A bit harsh and lacking cohesion, but pleasant enough.

Bottle. Pours a clear light orange with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has an earthy cheese and tart earthy citrus with a bit of a dry white wine note. Flavor has funk and sour light citrus with a bit of a dry white wine note growing through the finish.
