Pint can pours with a dirty deep mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan ring of foam. The aroma offers up boozy banana as well as murmurs of dates, plum and then sherry behind the weight of the banana influence. The taste delivers sweet slick boozy malts as well as a blend of sweet toffee and brandy like sherry notes. Slightly delayed is an upwelling of banana like notes that are working pretty well here. To midway the barrel goodness can be noticed with smooth subtle bourbon and rye like bossiness leading into banana and subtle smooth cherry and plum like fruitiness. The boozy molasses drizzled banana hangs on well into the after taste. Fun beer.

On tap at O.H.S.O. - Arcadia, pours a dirty dark brown, no head essentially. Aroma reveals an insane amount of banana upfront, followed by loads of spirit barrels, and burnt sugars. Flavour is pure liquid boozy bananas upfront, with secondary notes of cognac and brandy, burnt sugars and booze. Very alcoholic, but more banana-dominated. Certainly interesting but it's not good IMO.
