Poured from the tap. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Earthy leafy hop character. Wasn’t a big Normcore fan. This is slightly better.

On tap at Brassneck, pours a clear dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a sort of sweaty, earthy hop character, with a bready malt base — let's hope the hops shine better in flavour… sort of: Flavour has a decently earthy hop character, with a touch of old dry pine cone, and bready malt. Pleasant enough but pretty ordinary pale that lacks vibrancy.

2023: Gold, bright, thin head. Earthy, mellow bitterness, piney chinook, big biscuity malt. Liking the balance here. 4 7 7 4 15 = 3.7 2022: Slight haze. Medium head. Earthy nose, some of that chinook pine. Clean bready pale malts, fairly low bitterness. Not bad. I'd definitely prefer more bitterness but I'm liking this better than the original batch of Normcore. 6 3 7 3 13 = 3.2
