Hops: Wet-Hop HBC 586 from Loftus Ranches
Our fifth and final Wet-Hop release of 2022 marks our first time working with freshly-picked HBC 586. This experimental variety has long been a favorite of ours in its kilned form, so it came as no surprise that this wet-hopped version delivered wide-ranging and potent flavors. Look for pear, mango, yuzu, and pink-peppercorn up front, with some bitter melon and dank earth arriving on the dry, refreshing finish. Show Less

On tap at Ravenna, pours a cloudy bright yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of fresh dank hops, a touch of stone fruit pith, and melon. Flavour is vibrant, dank and fruity, with plenty of dank hops, melon, stone fruit juiciness, and just enough malt backbone. Balanced and forceful. Excellent.
