We hopped this cool IPA with a pile of Sultana, Simcoe, and Bru-1 hops. It’s got some of the pine, that pineapple, and the super citrus that we’re after in these types of beverages. Anyhow, carry on and enjoy your day. See you later!

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out an earthy and spicy hop character, some fungal notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour has an earthy and spicy hop character, with bready malt and a weird yeasty character. Very odd hop character to this. It's crisp and balanced, but the hop character is just not pleasant.

Dullish colour, slight haze. Medium head. There's some nice piney, figgy sort of notes to this. I'm liking that unique hop character. On the palate, the hops are even bigger. Some orangey simcoe stuff, but the sultana and bru-1 are adding raisiny and herbaceous aspects I appreciate. A splash of alcohol in the finish, and a decent malt balance, though the malt character seems a bit underwhelming... that's been a thing with Beere the past couple of years. Yeast change?

Blond colour, almost clean. Mild piney hops aroma. It's quite dry, lean mouthfeel, almost crisp on the malt side; decent hopping, piney and gentle, but with bold bitterness.
There have been brighter ones, but the concept is fully modern West Coast IPA, and it's appreciated. Very good.
