Cask at the Wenlock & Essex, 12/06/14. Clear amber with moderate light beige spotting and edgework. Nose is dark fruits, light biscuit crumble, toffee twang, not a particularly diverse array of aromas but not unpleasant. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, some earthy dirt grinds, light hop presence, biscuit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a good dose of old school bitterness. Ok bitter.
