On tap at Cold Bath, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very restrained, with subdued grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt — very timid though. Flavour is clean and crisp but underhopped, with biscuity malt and subdued bittering hops. Drinkable but lacking bite. It's fine.

Bottle. Weetons Harrogate. Czech pils with Bavarian hops? Who knew. Mostly clear medium gold. Once it’s had a swirl there’s a decent white foam. Nose has sweet bready grain. Hint of toffee. Some spicy hop. Taste is similarly sweet with just a touch of bitterness. Mouthfeel could be crisper but it’s easy enough drinking. Foamy carbonation. Bit of a sweet finish. Ok at best.

Tap at the cold bath Brewpub Harrogate. A clear golden coloured pour with a fine sticky white head. Aroma is clean, light pils, apple juice, subdued. Flavour is composed of crisp light grains apple, eatery. Ok. Palate is crisp, light tangy, highish carbonation. Ok
