It’s hard to say it out loud but everyone has one. You know, unless you’re an only child. Maybe it changes day to day. Or maybe you’re like us…
Our favourite sibling happens to be our only sibling! Our sister brewery, Herald Street Brew Works on the island.

They came for an overdue visit and we brewed an old family recipe: Dry-Hopped Multigrain Saison, dating back to our great-great-great grandmother’s signature brew (this part is fiction but fun to think about)

A super fun multigrain malt bill brings complexity to this saison. We used barley, wheat, oat, buckwheat AND triticale to provide a complex and pleasing base.
We fermented with a blend of saison and wine yeasts to promote biotransformation. What is biotransformation? It’s when yeast metabolizes inert compounds into delightfully aromatic compounds.

Science is delicious.

Dry hop additions of Huell Melon and Belma bring bright and fruit forward notes of citrus, green strawberries and Juicy Fruit™ .

Embrace your favourite and non-favourite siblings alike and raise a glass to family!

Poured from 473mL can (canned 21 May 2022). Clear bright blonde with full white head. Oak, rustic, light bugs, decent while having room for improvement.

Bottle sample at Farmhouse Fest 2022, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic notes, oak, and earthiness. Flavour is buggy and grainy, with rustic notes, oak, and mixed grains. A bit messy but it works.

Deep gold and bright. Thick head. I’m getting some funny phenolic yeast, herbaceous hop, sort of sticky malt. Sweet and not hitting complexity. I mean Dupont > every other more expensive saison, the law that never fails.
