On tap at Stone Escondido, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, toasted notes and earthy, piney hops. Flavour is roasty and hoppy, with medium roast, some dark fruits, and piney hops. Balanced nicely, with a good mix of roast, dark fruits and piney hops. Excellent.

Very fresh can with an assist to Patrick in CA. Pours a dark mahogany hue with a medium beige head that goes down a bit. A complex nose of caramel malts, big citrus, fruity like a barleywine. So much going on in the flavor. Sharp rich dank hops, some resin, the core malt profile is a lot like a barleywine, toffee. The hope dominate! And I am so glad, most CDAs are porter forward. Just lovely. I could drink this everynight. The barrel aged triple is there, woody and sweet. Phenolic. Great.
