From cask. Pours clear and golden orange, creamy and off white head. Aroma is mild fruity and toasted malt. Bitter, sweeet and toasted malt. Mellow and toasted. Dry malty finish.

From cask at the Dove Street Inn Spring Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours copper brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, dark fruit, slightly soapy. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is sweet, malty and slightly medicinal.

Draught at the Lamb, Lamb Conduit Street. Very weird beer, didn’t taste like a bitter at all and the hops didn’t come through at all. Tasted more like an off sweet raspberry. (May be a cask issue..who knows)

Cask at the Beacon Hotel. Poured a clear dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is biscuit malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a rich woody hop bitter dry yeast palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Beacon Hotel; clear chestnut brown pour with a thin beige head, aroma has dried leaves and some fruit, taste has nuts, dried fruits and some smoke.

Cask at Beacon Hotel. Hazy amber color. Burnt toast aroma. Taste is smoky burnt caramel. Nice.

Cask@The Lord Northbrook, Lee, London - amber brown pour with white head. Toasty malty aroma and taste, some caramel , slight grassy, twiggy and herbal hoppy, nutty, bitter finish.

Draught @ [ London Craft Beer Festival 2014 ] @ Oval Space, 29-32 The Oval, London, Greater London, England, E2 9DT. [ As Signature Brew Session ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, yeasty malt - mesk - mash. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, dusty, yeasty malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140817]
