[notes] Poured @ FHF 2023 (Aug 12, 2023). Hazed gold with small white head. Bright citrus, mild gin, enjoyable.

Hazy pale beige. Nice bugginess to the aroma. On the palate, light bugs and maltier base than I probably expected.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF WITHOUT priceless Rachel's help in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: a bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: herbs, fruity, fresh, botanicals. Taste: same. Overall: good enough.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark copper with a heap of sediment floating about and a small white head. Aroma brings out the gin barrels upfront, with plenty of botanicals and herbal notes, wild yeast, and a little citrus. Flavour is very citrusy and medium-high acidic, with tons of gin barrels upfront, some bugs further back, and tart, acidic, citrusy notes on the finish. The gin is front-and-centre, imparting lots of botanicals, floral, herbal, etc. notes. With more sips, a sort of red wine, tannic character comes out and makes it come together. Good stuff.
