Pitch black colour. Aroma of chocolate, with hints of dark sugar, vanilla. Thick and oily, moderately sweet; chocolate flavour, cacao, mild vanilla and leather, and some astringency in the finish that may be a sign of long aging and oxidation.
Pretty good overall.

16oz @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: weird, roasty, coffee notes, coconut and vanilla are not really detectable. Taste: very thick and intense on the coffee and vanilla side. Overall: too much coffee for me here.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks Derek and JF). Near black with small tan head. Light coffee, vanilla, mild coconut, drinkable, but could be more cohesive. It's okay.

473mL can, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out light cocoa, coffee, dry roast, and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is rich, with intense coffee and coconut upfront, followed by vanilla and some dark sugars. Viscous, with lots of coconut and coffee. Not the most complex or elegant, but it's very tasty. Good stuff.
