Poured from 375mL bottle (bottled 21/11/13). Very dark brown with small beige head. Light peat, mild bourbon, feint maple, and vanilla. Each part individually is enjoyable, but the sum of the parts, once meshed together, isn't quite cohesive. Decent, but wouldn't have again.

375mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out burnt sugars, a weird mix of bourbon barrels, fermented out maple syrup, and a touch of vanilla -- very odd aromatics. Flavour is rich and very unusual in terms of the cohesion -- there's obviously notes of bourbon barrels and a weird perfumey liquor (I guess that's the Acerum?) that seems like there's a spice blend infused into it. Ultimately, I don't think this works flavour-wise. The body is nice, but the blend of flavours doesn't work for me.
