Hearty malt base providing roasted, chocolate-like, and chewy dark fruit backdrop along with oats to keep things creamy and smooth. We then added a wallop of fresh figs into the kettle and fig flavouring to make it pop.

Draught at the brewery
Dark cola colour. Good body, moderately sweet, roasted malt, dark caramel, burnt sugar, light jam. Heaviky toasted slice of bread and fig jam, thats what i think. Good.

6oz shared with Alex's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: some coffee with lots of chocolate, smells like a candy or cake. Taste: along the same lines, a bit on the artificial side. Overall: ok.

473mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle dark dried fruits, some toasted malt, and a touch of molasses. Flavour is mostly a function of the figs, with some molasses along for the ride, and maybe a touch of metallic character. Not the most complex, but decent for a 6.5% stout. Finishes fairly low on the sweetness, which makes it reasonable drinkable. Fairly good for what it is.

Dark brown and no head. Chocolatey aroma, and light fig accents. Base is okay and the fig could come out a bit more.
