Fedallah’s Hearse was brewed using a blend of Pilsner and 2-row barleys, along with copious amounts of flakes rice. It was hopped in the kettle with Mosaic and Galaxy, then fermented cold with one of our favourite yeast strains, before being dry-hopped with more Galaxy and Mosaic Cryo.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Really nice IPA here with a full flavor, yet equal balance. Tons of piney hops on the nose, with a nice even biscuit grain. Flavor has a little more layers to the hop bill, with grassy, piney, and tropical character. Long lasting hop quality paired with biscuit and pilsner malts. Just a well rounded, well executed west coast IPA here. Very good.

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is wonderfully dank in the hop department, with plenty of oily pine, gentle tropical notes, and just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is bold and assertively hopped, with lots of dank hops, tons of pine, light tropical notes, and just enough biscuity malt. Balanced beautifully, yet still extremely hop-forward and nicely bitter. Top-notch west coast IPA.
