A bonanza of bananas in a barrel aged imperial stout? We call it a... Bananaza.

In this modern age, one encounters but few opportunities to transcend the mundane. Which is why we’re offering you the opportunity to go truly Bananaza with a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout full of Thai Bananas, Cacao and Coconut. Bananaza was aged for almost a year in Willett Whiskey barrels, lovingly caressed and frequently tested for maximum flavor extraction. Hold tight and let ‘er buck.

Dark brown. Cacao nibs, rich barrel, brown sugars, this is going to be intense. Full body, excellent barrel, some banana sweetness, quality dark sugars.

Shared with Josh during our trip to Festival of Dark Arts 2026.
Aroma: intense brown sugars, American oak, mix of coconut and chocolate with fruity (can't catch the bananas in particular) notes.
Taste: along the same lines, intense, bold, complex.
Overall: very good.

On tap at Fort George - Lovell Taproom, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out bourbon barrels, banana, coconut and a touch of cocoa — very intense. Flavour is ridiculously complex, with intense coconut and bourbon barrels, accentuated by light banana and cocoa. The banana is rather subdued, allowing the coconut and bourbon to characterize this. Lovely stuff.
