This beer was inspired by our heavy fruited Dark Sour. We took the same fruits and switched the base to a big bodied imperial stout. Big notes of chocolate, vanilla, blueberry and blackberry with a silky sweet flavour and mouthfeel.

Poured from 500mL bottle @ Weathered 2023. Black with tan head. Chocolate, blackberry, blueberry, feint vanilla. Not bad fruited stout.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small espresso-like head. Aroma brings out a rich melange of blackberries, blueberries, vanilla and roast in good harmony. Flavour is surprisingly cohesive and rich, with roasted malt, berries and light vanilla. I usually dislike fruited imperial stouts but the cohesion is great here. Not sour, just fruity enough and deep. Excellent.
