As the season changes, so does what we crave in a beer. A perfect sipper for cold weather, the dark saison is brewed with a complex malt bill of malted barley, rye and Belgian specialty malts and finished with sour cherries.

Amber-brown. Some plastic notes, definitely phenols I'm not nuts about in there. There's a bit sweet, a light phenol note. It's okay.

473mL can, pours a deep dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma has a pretty nice saison yeast character, bready malt, and a touch of spice. Flavour has a nice spicy, red fruity character, bready malt, and a touch of dry earthiness. Earthy, spicy, and bready finish. Pretty decently done actually.

Poured from the tap. Lightly clouded dull medium brown with small beige head. Rye malt, touch of bread crust, very feint cherry character. Okay.
