Florals and raisins, prune. Dark brown pour with durable creamy head. Marmalade and some booze. Sweet and slightly bitter finish. Nice beer. A little heavy on booze aroma is a potential fault. Can.

Mahogany colour, large beige head, compact. Aroma: some sweet malt, celery; this is not very inviting. Lean body, if this was from Belgium, I would say they used too much candi sugar; simple caramel flavour, with a touch of celery; it's a bit too hot.
This is a simplistic rendition of a Strong Belgian Ale, without depth or richness.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with full head. Aromas of candi sugar, bready malts, copper, raisins and Christmas spice. Flavors follow same with additional dry caramel and fruity esters. Somewhat sweet and more metallic than I'd like, but very nice.

473mL can, pours a deep dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, candi sugar, dark dried fruit, and bready malt -- though doesn't really smell authentic. Flavour is inauthentic but still nice, with plenty of candi sugar, dark dried fruit, bready malt, and gentle esters. Doesn't strike me at all as an authentic Belgian quad, but for what it is, it's very nice. Not too sweet, it's complex, and a has nice complex mouthfeel. Needs more carb and yeast expression, but still solid.
