Can from the brewery
Blond colour, slightly hazy. Bready aroma. Mild bread flavour, it's dry, the body is ok, the bitterness is ok, but it's still rather boring.

12oz @ Alex's. Appearance: almost clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: raw water, hops, crackery malts. Taste: along the same lines but with a strange acidity/sourness. Overall: meh.

Poured from 355mL can (pkg Nov 02, 2022). Clear-ish blonde gold with white head. Clean and crisp, mild grassy hops with a touch of straw. Decent.

355mL can, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grass, straw and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and hardly tart, with straw, grass, and biscuity malt. Clean, crisp and grassy. Pleasant standard craft lager.

I am unsure what the tart lager reference is to...most industrial lagers are sour as all fucking hell. This pours from the can dull and hazy, with a thin head. There's some tartness, that acidulated malt rolling through along with pale malt sweetness. Low bitterness. I actually get a small shot of H Blanc here, which I appreciate. Definitely more of a premium lager with acidulated than industrial - thank goodness - and while it's not my thing it does seem to work and might hit the spot for some folks. If this was on tap and I popped in after riding up to Buntzen, this would hit the spot I don't doubt.
