16oz (thx, Chris S.!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: very dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma: a nice cold brew coffee, with a bit of sweetness and chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, quite dry, lots of coffee. Overall: pretty good for a coffee stouts.

Dark brown. Similar nose to the whole bean, kind of raw. On the palate, a bit bigger, sweeter. Just a little. The coffee is nutty, with a soft chocolate note. The balance is a bit better as well. All told, not bad.

Poured from 473mL can. Black with small beige head. Roast malt, coffee, slightly more rounded, but also muted. Overall prefer the whole bean version.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma seems mush more washed out than the whole bean version I just had, with some subtle earthiness. Flavour has a little more oomph, with plenty of cold brew that dominates, along with a touch of dry cocoa. More rounded and less intense, but it's a cohesive beer. Good stuff.
