On tap at Craft & Draft, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out intense espresso, medium roast and rounded out by bourbon barrels. Flavour is rich and coffee-centric, with deep espresso notes that dominate, accentuated by subtle bourbon and a tiny hint of sugars. Real nice espresso character. Light-bodied but sturdy enough. Nice stuff.

100ml shared with Ryan. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: some barrel, coffee, roasted malts, a bit thin. Taste: loads of coffee, quite bitter (roasted malts and coffee), thin. Overall: ok.

Poured from the tap. Very dark brown with small light beige head. Lots of coffee on the nose. Taste is quite roasty with coffee notes and just a feint hint of the bourbon. Quite nice for a non-imperial stout.
