Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small cream head. Malts mainly in the aroma, with some caramel and dark fruits. In the mouth, the sweetness and chewiness of winegums is the first thing to be noticed. Malts come through together with raspberries and a hint of chocolate. Finish is fairly fruity. Decent enough mild.

Manchester Beer Festival 2017. Dark amber-brown in colour. It has a good malt-hop balance with the latter lingering long in the palate.
