Dark and brooding, full of body, just like King Richard III, a real regal pint.

Cask at the Parcel Yard, Leicester. Pours dark bronze with a lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma of plum, dark fruits, malt, hop, fig, toffee and biscuit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. Dry, fruity finish. Quite enjoyable.

Handpull cask at the Parcel Yard, Leicester. Ruby brown, clear with a large beige head. Medicinal aroma with light berry notes. Bittersweet taste with a sickly medicinal note. Liquorice and bramble in the aftertaste. Not all that great.
