Fat på Akkurat. Ett öl med starka rostade toner som samtidigt ör ganska söt. För tankarna till karamell, kaffe och vanilj. Munkänslan är mjuk och något sockrig. Avslutningen något torr.

On tap @ Brewing 18. Pours black, with a small creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts with cereals, toffee and heather, as well as muscovado, kandi and wooden notes. Creamy body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, caramel and burned sugar, as well as muscovado, kandi and dark fruits.

Tap @ Pigalle, Sangenjaya. Pours dark brown some off-white foam on top. Nose is deep, light roast there and a hint of tartness inside a chocolate mousse. Tastes sweet, lager yeast feel actually there, light molasses, chocolate and lingering liquorice. Quite nice one to sip, goes down slowly and enjoyably. Maybe not super exciting but brewed quite well into the style.

MBCC. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and bread. Flavour is roasted malt, medium sweet, chocolate, caramel, bread, little liquorice and a little bitter.

F: huge, tanned, long lasting. C: black, opaque. A: dark roasted malt, a lot of chocolate, coffee, cocoa, toffee, caramel, vanilla, almost complex. T: dark fruits, liquid chocolate, coffee, bit vanilla, toffee, full body with almost complex taste, lower carbonation, full enjoyed, almost great beer, sample draft @ BXLBeerFest 2018 in Brussels.

Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A black beer with a huge good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark mild roasted malt, red fruits, plums, some raisins. Taste of dark roasted malt, red fruits, Caramel, plums, strong malty finish.

Sample @ BXL BeerFest 2018, shared with Belgian RB crew, thanks. Brune foncée, col beige. Arôme est malté sur bouquet grillé avec petite note biscuité en rétro couplé sur de fines pointes fruitées noires. Palais est malté, caramel, pâle, petite note de grillé avec une douceur rappelant le mélanoïde un peu trop surfait et doux. Amertume n'est que sur la fin et fine, le tout garde une approche un peu biscuitée.
