16oz (thx, Alex!) @ Ryan's.
Aroma: roasted malt, some fruity notes, a bit grassy.
Taste: along the same lines, moderately roasty, low to moderately sweet. Finishes with quite high bitterness.
Overall: good for what it is.

Pours very dark brown with foamy tan head. Aroma malt, coffee, and a bit of caramel. Flavour burnt caramel, malt, and dark chocolate. Some boozy warmth on the finish and lingering butterness. Mouthfeel quite smooth with light carbonation. Very nice

473 ml can. 9.5% on the label. Pours black with full tan head. Aromas of nutty chocolate, a bit of plastic, creamy coffee, and roasted malts. Flavors of woody roasted malts, dry dark chocolate and creamy black coffee. Dry finish. Nailing the style without too much coffee.

473mL can, pours jet black with a large tan head. Nose is full of big roasted malt, some espresso, dry cocoa, and even a good piney hop punch. Flavour is bold, with deep roasted malt, espresso, dry cocoa and big piney hops to boot. Surprisingly bold, clean and well-structured, a la Old Rasputin. Excellent classic RIS.
