Pale and hazy, thin head. Very phenolic aroma, sticky bubblegum stuff. Dryish towards the finish but the ferm didn't go as planned by the taste of it.

On tap at Arizona Wilderness - DTPHX, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is full of sweet potato, earthiness, and some rustic saison yeast. Flavour is full of tart sweet potato, earthiness, rustic notes, and a touch of citrusy, tart bugginess. Unusual for sure but executed well. Weird stuff that works.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a near clear copper body that supports a thin dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a bit of a sour note and then soft saison notes. Wow. The nose hides a lot of what's going on in the flavor. The taste starts sweet with marshmallow and sweet potato. It then flows into a somewhat muted spicy saison yeast like sensation and then growing into cinnamon. Into the finish a pleasing modest sweet vanilla note takes the experience into the after taste. This is a nicely crafted holiday beer that creates balance with lots going on. Fun.
