This lovely full-bodied ale was brewed with lots of Rye and Crystal Rye Malt, as well as a large dose of Mesquite-smoked brown sugar.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a mostly clear muddy bronze with almost no head. Aroma is dry and malty, with toasted nuts, dry caramel, and bready crusts. Flavour is weird β the carbonation is flat, which is throwing off the flavour β there's bready malt, maybe toasted nuts. But the flat carb kind of ruins this, creating a muted flavour profile. It's not terrible, but it's severely lacking for me.

Dark brown body with thick head. Aroma is malt and chocolate. Much chocolate and sweet malt in the flavour.. Long chocolate and malt finish. Worth seeking out. Rather strong for a Machine house beer or ale.

Golden-brown. Frothy cask head. Light toffee nose and vague fruits. Has a light plummy tartness, maybe a bit of raisiny fruits, not bad...handles cask better than most beers this strong, even in the old country.

Cask 10 oz pour at Machine House. Whay a surprise this beer was. Expecting what I have learned to expect within this should be broad style of beers, thisbon e was both unique, and excellent. A clean copper brown pour. A perfect balance of smoked malt, sweet maple, brown sugar aroma. Flavor is filled with a ton of sweet brown sugar, but not too sweet. Definitely after being paired with the subtle smoke character. Flavorful. Toasty. Warming, but in no way does it taste strong. Ideal winter beer here. I could drink tons of this. Loved it.
