Bottle, 650 ml, shared with others. Black with medium beige head. Chocolate, vanilla, some fruity notes, bourbon, barrel, medium sweetness, some bitterness in finish. Medium to full bodied.

Inky black, no head. The aroma is balanced chocolate and vanilla. On the palate, lots of vanilla, it goes on, with a nice barrel character, again lots of nice chocolate. That's really some of the nicest vanilla character, and of course the base is damn fine.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is rich and decadent, with big bourbon barrels, alcohol, some vanilla, and molasses. Flavour is extremely intense, with complex vanilla beans, big bourbon barrels, and molasses. The booze can definitely be felt, though it's integrated well. The vanilla bean complexity is sure nice, melding well with the barrels. Massive stout -- very tasty.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with almost no beige head. Vanilla, mild whiskey, feint chocolate, decent.

On tap at Nebulous. Pours a jet black hue with almost no head. A big nose of whiskey and chocolate. Slick, very syrupy, some heat, lots of bourbon, dark fruit, vanilla, chocolate. This is good, but it's near the extreme side of dessert stouts. I might be a little bit burnt out on them. But very well executed.

Sampled from the tap at Broken Top Bottle Shop. Pours black with a deep oaky brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has vanilla up front with roast, dark grain and whiskey supporting. Flavor has a great combination of whiskey and vanilla with roasted malts and dark grains backing.
