Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5
Dark brown. No head though. Doesn'�t look right. Lots of coconut, weak base that offers maybe some toastiness but nothing else - the coconut needs some dark malt, hop, residual sugar -something so it doesn'�t taste like suntan lotion. Balance is a thing, but not in this beer.

On tap at Twin Sails, pours a deep dark mahogany-tinged brown with a small beige head. Aroma is strongly coconut, with a moderate toasted malt base. Flavour is full of coconut, with a thin toasted malt, leaving gentle sugars and lots of coconut. If you're gonna do a 4.6% coconut stout, this is good, but why would you do it. Fine.
