We aged this Imperial Stout In a blend of maple barrels and then added gallons upon gallons of maple syrup to create a beer with a silky smooth body and notes of sweet cinnamon, chocolate caramel, and rich vanilla.
Malts: C-60, Cara Munich, Chocolate, Crisp Pale Chocolate, ESB, Pale, Roast Barley

On tap at Reuben's - Ballard, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with intense maple syrup, light bourbon, and dark sugars. Flavour is very rich, with lots of bourbon, maple syrup galore, and dark sugars. The maple syrup certainly imparts an intense sweetness, but it's wonderfully complex.
