One thing we like about beer is its ability to transcend time and borders. So when we were introduced to brewers in French Flanders who share our passion for hops, we quickly decided to collaborate. Using a combination of European malts, American hops, and an abbey yeast, we brewed a beer to celebrate all that we have in common with Brasserie du Pays Flamand.
Malts: Pilsner, Abbey, CaraMunich, Melanoidin, Chocolate Rye
Hops: Citra, Mosaic, Azacca, Cascade

On tap at Reuben's - Ballard, pours a clear amber red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, some resins, and a bunch of yeast soup. Flavour has a bunch of muddled yeast, sweet bready malt, and resinous hops. Sweet bready finish. Not getting the Belgian character (other than higher than average sweetness), nor much hops. It's alright.
