Draught (Efterår 2015). Hazy ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet grains, caramel, some slight toasted notes with mild herbs. Flavour is herbs, some floral, mild wooden, resiny and some bready and mild toffeeish notes. Quite thin palate, and also a quite watery feel to it.

Draught at KØ17. Citric aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is citric and woody, perhaps a little funky. Creamy mouthfeel. Low carbonation.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Ugly powerfull smoked notes. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. More Smoked than Brown ale.

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2015 ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Birkerød Efterår ].Unclear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramle, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, roasted - toasted, woody. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150528]

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Fruity. Caramelish and metallic. Dark malty and roasted finish. Bitter and dry malty. Roasted and slight metallic finish.
