This West Coast IPA stars fresh hops with the malt playing a supporting role. A classic hop for a reason, this Simcoe show features lovely aromas of citrus, mango, a touch of pine, and the slightly earthy leafiness that only raw, unkilned hops can bring to the table. Expect a fragrant, crisp, dry, and bitter delight.

Pale, light orange, malts are a bit sticky, and that's not letting the hops show through enough.

On tap at Ladd & Lass, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderately dank hops, biscuity malt, and some straw. Flavour is not quite as good, with gently dank hops, biscuity malt, and straw. Fairly weak hops despite some dankness. Meh.
