Inky dark brown pour. Thick. Lots of chocolate, rich stouty aroma, with lots of apple brandy as well. Tarry taste, burnt molasses character. Sweet, but the burnt malt bitterness is also there. The brandy lends accent, and the apple makes sense here. Rich and refined.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Dark brown with no head. Apple brandy forward without being overpowering, mild chocolate underlay, one of the better Bestowed's. Enjoyable.

375mL bottle, pours jet black with a tiny head. Aroma is loaded with intense apple brandy barrels, some chocolate, molasses, dark sugars, and maybe a hint of cola. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense dark sugars, cocoa, big apple brandy barrels, and some toasted caramel. Huge apple brandy, dark sugars, and cocoa on the finish. Very rich, inky, oily palate, but not brutal. Balanced, refined, though somehow I'm not crazy about it. Undeniably very good though.

375ml (thx, Chris S.!) @ 🏡 Appearance: pours like an oil, almost black with a very dark brown head. Aroma: some apples and brandy with a lot of barrel, a bit of leather. Taste: very thick and barrel forward, some apples and a bit of ashy character. Overall: very nice!
